Advice #1

In my personal opinion the scale for someone to act like a friend, or just a humane person in general has drastically been altered… Everywhere I look it’s just another group of people picking on the new kid, or ignoring someone because they’re different, be it race, gender, age, etc…People don’t seem to realize the effect just one comment could have on a person’s life. They don’t know what is going on with them, how could they? So what gives them the right to destroy someone’s confidence by making fun of them when in fact no one is perfect. What gives them the right to decide what is imperfect about someone and completely blow it out of proportion? Nothing. No one has the right to do that to anyone. You don’t like them? So what. Unless they have given you a reason to not like them everyone deserves a fair shot. After they use up their chance it’s reasonable to not want to associate with them, but do that, don’t go around talking behind their backs and poking fun at them. I have seen friendships, relationships, and families destroyed because someone has said the wrong thing to another person and ruined that persons trust in them. Start a clean slate with everyone you meet, don’t just dislike them because someone you know dislikes them. Try and be the bigger person and forgive someone. Just try and be a better person. Im not saying go out and do something drastic and huge like world peace but even the littlest of things help. Just the other day I told someone they looked nice and you should have seen how they beamed with happiness. Complimenting someone is a good start, then progress from there. Remember nobody is perfect. It’s impossible…Just be you.

Friend

“Friend: A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.”

A friend could mean the world to someone right? Being there for another person through a difficult time, or just “hanging out” with said person. Why however, does it seem that true friends do not exist anymore? I’ve had people tell me how their “friends” only seem to want to associate with them when they need something…Well what do you think? Me personally…I wouldn’t acknowledge them as a friend…I don’t know about you but true friends don’t act like that. It seems that the age of decency has passed us and you can’t truly trust anyone…Am I being cynical? You tell me…

Sentimental

So there’s this person, who I seem to have feelings for, but here’s my problem…I don’t have feelings for people. I’m not exactly sure what to do about this because they’re quite attractive…but that can’t be the only reason why I have feelings for them right? Of course not. I’m not that shallow. They have other characteristics too…the usual…you know humorous, intelligent, and somewhat shy…pretty damn close to my ideal type which if you were wondering is someone who is intelligent, has a good sense of humor, and a beautiful smile. Maybe I should just see how it plays out with this one…I always like a challenge…

Anger

Is it reasonable to have so much…oh I don’t know…anger? It seems as though that’s the only emotion I have…anger. Is there much more than that? Is there really anything else?

Wild Card

“Wild Card: of, being, or including an unpredictable or unproven element, person, item, etc.”

Unpredictable. It seems logical for ones actions cannot always be predicted. It appears to be of high importance, a wild card, unpredictable and all. They can immediately change the game, a person’s way of thinking, anything at all they wish too. Nothing quite matches a wild cards power, except for, quite possibly, the person who holds said card. They too must be quite powerful don’t you agree? To hold that amount of power but wait until the last moment to strike when it is strategically beneficial to them…Brilliant.
